Check the thermostat first

But if the compressor in the outdoor unit isn’t working because its capacitors or motor have failed, then there won’t be any cooling at all. Broken condenser fan
The outdoor unit contains a condenser fan that’s responsible for drawing hot outdoor air into the unit and across the condenser coil so heat can be released to the outside.
