The Kilowatt Heating, Air Conditioning and Electrical HVAC Excellence Scholarship will go to the person who exhibits the character traits and proficiency in their classes that lead to a successful career in the heating and air conditioning industry. Our competition will run now through May 15, 2018 - so apply today to be considered!

Winners of the HVAC Excellence Scholarship will be notified by email or phone, so please leave up to date information in your response.

How to Enter:

Create a 1 page handwritten essay describing the character traits that you think will make you a great HVAC Technician or Installer and why.

Send your essay as an attachment to by May 15, 2018 with the following information:

  • First and last name
  • Phone number where you can best be reached
  • A copy of your report card with grades*


All applicants must be a enrolled in an EPA Certification program by an accredited trade school.

The scholarship is available for participants in Southern California. The deadline for essay submissions is May 15th 2018. The winner will be selected and notified on May 30th 2018.

*You must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check and drug test to win.
