Kilowatt Heating, Air Conditioning and Electrical started with our owner Dean Gilford. Dean was fortunate enough to be mentored in the HVAC industry when he was young. At age 15, his Uncle Arnold took him under his wing and trained him in the electrical trade. He didn’t just give his technical expertise. He also instilled the values of responsibility, time management, and hard work. One of Uncle Arnold’s mottos was, “Work smarter and do the job right.”
From Dean’s Uncle Ed he learned the heating and air conditioning business. He was blessed to work side by side with him for many years. From Uncle Ed, Dean also picked up a passion for great customer service. Throughout every job they worked on together, Uncle Ed would ask, “How can we better serve this customer?”
In 1990, Dean took the lessons learned from the men before him and sewed them into the foundation of his business, creating Kilowatt Heating, Air Conditioning and Electrical. Every job done strives to make Uncle Arnold and Ed proud.
