ShermanOaks, CA January 17th 2018 – Kilowatt is proud to announce that it has earned the home service industry’s coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award (SSA). This award honors service professionals who have maintained exceptional service ratings and reviews on Angie’s List in 2017
“The service providers that receive our Angie’s List Super Service Award demonstrate the level of excellence that members have come to expect,” said Angie’s List Founder Angie Hicks. “These pros are top-notch and absolutely deserve recognition for the trustworthy and exemplary customer service they exhibited in the past year and overall.

November 2017 Employee of the MonthWednesday, November 1st, 2017
Hector Basurto can do anything. Diagnose issues with your air conditioning system? No problem. Re-wire your home? No problem. Install a furnace, teach the new guy, take a call on a Sunday when it’s his day off? No problem. Do you see why we love Hector so much? He works hard and he expects the same of everyone on his team. Everyone wants to be on his team. That’s the kind of guy he is, a natural born leader.
Rob Scott – September Employee of the MonthSunday, September 3rd, 2017
You know that kid who gets picked first in PE, that everyone wants on his team? That’s Rob. He is a PLEASURE to work with. Rob is strong, capable, smart, funny, a quick learner and a sincerely good guy. We almost lost him this year when he got really sick and his life was saved by the amazing doctors at Cedars. Afterwards when he was finally able to work again we snapped him up for Dean and the guys to teach him the HVAC trade. He works with everyone in the field and in the office. One of the people in the office is his mom Deb! So it’s a real family atmosphere over here, just how we like it. Thanks for giving us your best every day Rob. Congratulations on being voted Employee of the Month!
Deb Scott – August 2017 Employee of the MonthMonday, July 31st, 2017
If you ever had an estimate with Dean then you probably already know Deb Scott. She follows up with our customers and makes sure that everyone is on the same page as far as costs, the scope of work, the exact equipment that will be installed and what to expect on the day of installation. When Deb showed up at Kilowatt with her years of experience working for contractors and her warm and loving personality we couldn’t wait to offer her a job. Deb is a great communicator. She listens, she cares and she makes sure that everyone involved in the conversation understands the same thing. – A skill that takes patience and insight 😉
May 2017 Employee of the MonthMonday, May 1st, 2017
When Jessica Franco came to Kilowatt a few years ago we knew right away that she was a keeper. Smart and curious about every aspect of heating, air conditioning, electrical and customer service, accounting, ordering parts… She’s amazing! In fact when our service technicians go for additional training she goes with them and takes the same classes they do. Many times Jessica can be heard talking a customer through an over-the-phone diagnosis of a problem. She is truly caring, organized, and the funnest perfectionist you could ever meet.
April 2017 Employee of the Month – Alfonso RamosTuesday, April 4th, 2017
Alfonso is the first person ever hired by Kilowatt so, truly our #1 employee. For a long time it was just Dean and Alfonso, out in the field, doing the jobs themselves. Alfonso was the best apprentice Dean ever had and over the years he became the best lead installer, service technician and human resources department all rolled into one. When they needed help Alfonso’s brothers, brother-in-law, and now Alfonso’s son Damien joined the crew.
